Remember the simpler times? When Atari made a game so bad it nearly killed gaming as a medium? Okey, well E.T. wasn't the only reason, it's a while story. What I tried to do with this game is to see if I can capture what the real E.T. dev wanted to make if he wasn't working with ancient hardware and a tight deadline.

This is what I believe E.T. was supposed to be minus the enemies because I couldn't fit them gameplay wise. This game was made for the "Brainless Mini-Game" jam. It was supposed to be a week long affair but I only got notified of it by one of my fellow devs on their discord, by them telling me we only have 24h left. I didn't even spend that much, this took me little over 8 hours if we count the breaks to eat and take care of the dog.

CONTROLS
Arrow keys, the rest is explained in game.

I can't wait for the sequel!

I need to play this game

I played it, and it's truly the game that killed the industry. It was so hard, I don't know, I even made it to the first and third endings.
